VIDEO: See How Sheffield Remembered The Fallen This Armistice Day

Hundreds of people gathered at Sheffield’s war memorial to remember those who had fallen in World War One this Armistice Day.

Armistice Day commemorates the signing of the armistice between the Allies and Germany at 11am on November 11th, 1918.

Sheffield City Council provided free transport for the servicemen who were attending remembrance events across the city between the hours of 10am – 12pm.

There will also be a similar service at the memorial site on Remembrance Sunday.
